She is unable to accept insurance at this time but we can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement directly back to you with the exception of Tricare and United/Optum. Kerry is a validating and engaging licensed therapist who is also a certified yoga teacher and mindfulness meditation teacher. She is passionate about teaching others to incorporate more warmth and spaciousness into their human experience and feel more at home in their lives. Her open-ended, supportive, and non-judgmental counseling approach is strongly rooted in the mindfulness practice. Borrowing from principles of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Kerry creates a collaborative and safe environment in which clients can heal, integrate, and live in a value-oriented way. Her approach is particularly well aligned with individuals processing grief and life change as well as parents and couples seeking greater ease in their home lives.

Dr. Maher provides individual psychotherapy for adults and has extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, chronic pain, and anger. His clients often say that they appreciate his “down-to-earth" approach and feel motivated in their work together. Dr. Maher has worked and trained in a variety of hospitals and outpatient clinics and enjoys treating individuals from a variety of backgrounds. Tara is a dedicated and compassionate counselor with over ten years of clinical experience treating both families and individuals of all ages. She is available to work with children ages 12 and up. Having worked in multiple treatment settings including outpatient, residential and the public school system, she is well versed in treating a variety of mental health conditions, relationship and life issues. Her educational background in psychology allows her to pull from a variety of empirically validated treatment strategies aimed at improving the quality of her clients’ lives.

Sara Tick, LMFT, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Gender Studies from the honors college at Indiana University. She later completed her Master of Science in Family Therapy at the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Her career began at an adolescent outpatient eating disorder clinic in Waltham, MA, where she gained invaluable experience using family-based treatment to support young people and their families through the challenges of eating disorders.  Now in Charleston, SC, Sara provides care to individuals, couples, and families, guiding them through life’s complexities and helping them grow and heal.

Sara offers fully virtual therapy sessions, allowing clients to access therapy from the comfort of their homes. She specializes in working with clients navigating relationship challenges, family dynamics, anxiety, depression, life transitions, gender identity, and eating disorders.

Kelli is salt of the earth, originally from Iowa, yet has made Charleston her permanent home alongside her husband and two sons. She has accrued significant life experience spending the majority of her career in the mortgage industry, volunteering for animal rescues, and serving as a running coach. But her true passion? Helping people create lasting, positive changes in their lives. That’s why she is transitioning to a career in counseling.

Rebecca offers her patients a safe atmosphere where thoughts, feelings, and behaviors can be process without judgment. She specializes in working with adults who have experienced developmental trauma impacting their relationship patterns, and offers couples counseling. She provides a collaborative, self-empowerment approach utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Rebecca hopes that her patients are able to gain insight, self-reflection, and gain practical skills that bring them closer to the lives that they want to live for themselves.

Rebecca is highly academically accomplished, graduating with honors from top tier Northwester University with her Master of Arts in Counseling. She completed her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University.
